Hello, I’m glad you’re here! Seeking help takes great courage, vulnerability, and trust, and I am here to listen compassionately, navigate life’s challenges with you, and help you identify and meet your goals for therapy. As your therapist-in-training, I will cultivate a safe space that is free of judgment, brings your voice to the forefront, and fosters shared understanding. Throughout our sessions, we will work together to develop a collaborative partnership that is centered around your unique circumstances, values, and aims. We will explore your greater context to develop a holistic view of your concerns, and delve into your personalized therapeutic goals. Overall, my therapeutic approach affirms your strengths, self-worth, and self-efficacy; promotes hope, motivation, and positive well-being; and empowers you to take practical, attainable steps towards achieving growth and healing. I am eager to support you in your mental wellness journey! ‍ I am currently a second-year student pursuing my Master of Social Work at Columbia University. Over the past few years, I have worked as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, a Listener at 7 Cups, and a peer counselor at USC; these opportunities have given me experience working with people with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, loneliness, stress, and burnout. Rachel Tan is a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. Sol Health is a digital health startup that offers $30 therapy to Gen Zs by connecting them with therapists-in-training accruing clinical hours.

As a dedicated psychotherapist, certified substance abuse counselor, and certified sex and couple’s therapist, I use holistic approaches where I treat the whole person and not just the symptoms. I offer an empathic and non-judgmental space for self-exploration and moving through what might feel stuck or challenging as you navigate the college journey. This might include struggling with managing academic demands, anxiety, low mood, relationships, or self-esteem. You don't have to go through it alone. I have expertise in working with those that have experienced relational trauma, such as abuse, neglect, betrayal, or unhealthy relationships. We can work together to increase awareness and understanding of what brings you to therapy and to help empower you to achieve your goals. My approach is relational and psychodynamic and can incorporate mindfulness and somatic-based techniques, including EMDR. I look forward to hearing from you!

I offer compassionate and transformative psychotherapy to individuals 18+ throughout the lifespan, drawing upon both traditional and innovative tools to provide highly individualized and attuned support. I have expertise working with anxiety (including social anxiety), life transitions, grief, trauma, work-related stress, family conflicts, and relationship issues. I also work frequently with spirituality and religion, multicultural issues, adjustment disorder, and concerns relating to college students and recent graduates. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of professional experience. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Religious Studies and graduating Cum Laude. I received my Master in Social Work degree at NYU. I have a certificate in Relational Psychotherapy and utilize mindfulness-based tools like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition, I have trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems) level 1 and the beginning and intermediate levels of Somatic Experiencing (a body-based approach), innovative therapeutic tools that I incorporate into my work. If a client already working with a primary therapist wishes to pursue an adjunct treatment focusing specifically on SE or IFS, I can design a therapy program to support these goals. I also provide adjunct therapy specifically targeting social anxiety. Before transitioning to private practice, I was a staff therapist at Columbia University Counseling and Psychological Services for eight years. I have extensive experience offering psychotherapy to adults of all ages, leading groups focused on creating connections and managing anxiety, and presenting virtual and in-person workshops to large audiences in professional and educational contexts. At this time, I see clients via telehealth throughout New York State and do not offer in-person sessions. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss how I may support you.

Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a licensed therapist in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina who helps people feeling burned out, anxious, or stuck in survival mode reconnect with balance and purpose. Many of my clients come to me after feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships, or the constant pressure to keep going — even when they’re running on empty. I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and learn healthier ways to cope. My style is compassionate and collaborative — I meet you where you are and help you build practical tools for stress, boundaries, and self-care that actually fit your life. Before starting my private practice, I worked in behavioral health settings supporting individuals living with substance use, bipolar disorder, and other chronic mental health conditions. That experience taught me that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all — and that real change happens when therapy feels safe, personalized, and empowering. If you’re ready to move from burnout to balance, I’d love to help you take that next step.

I’ve always thought that the most beautiful and interesting trees in the forest are the ones that grow into unique forms, shaped by their environment but finding a way to adapt and thrive. Similarly, life’s challenges can shape us in profound ways, but they can also leave us feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck. I’m Rob Gooding, a second-year graduate student at St. Bonaventure University studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate these challenges and uncover their inner resilience to live fulfilling and authentic lives. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for growth and healing. To me, it’s a privilege to walk alongside clients as they share their stories and embark on their journey toward self-discovery and empowerment. My approach is grounded in person-centered principles, recognizing that you are the expert in your own life. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and supported. By integrating evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Solution-Focused Therapy, I work with clients to reframe negative thought patterns, develop practical skills, and prioritize their needs. Together, we’ll build tools to navigate challenges with confidence and clarity. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, academic pressures, identity exploration, or life transitions, you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to help you rediscover your strengths, adapt to life’s demands, and create meaningful change. Just like those unique trees in the forest, your story is one of resilience and growth – and it would be an honor to support you on your path. Robert Gooding is a therapist in-training at Sol Health. Licensed Mental Health Counselor
New York, NY

I provide individual therapy that is warm, collaborative, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each person I see. I strongly value inclusivity, liberation, and respect--values I incorporate into my work by staying centered in a Black feminist and HAES perspective. My clients arrive in therapy coping with trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief. Together, we work not only toward developing healthy coping skills, but toward healing for a sense of purpose, contentment, and peace. Therapy is an excellent place to affirm and internalize a greater sense of self worth and to practice a compassionate attitude toward yourself. I am particularly skilled at working with individuals who have experienced trauma. While I am experienced working with people of many different backgrounds and identities, I am especially well versed in working with people of color & LGBTQIAA+ individuals who contend with microaggressions and systems that diminish wellness. Choosing to come to therapy is an incredible opportunity for learning, growth, and creating a life of meaning and fulfillment. I offer individual therapy for adults and elders located in NY or NJ by phone or video conference only. **Please note, I accept only out of network benefits and am not in network with any insurance panels.**

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Brooklyn, NY

Therapy works by creating an open and non-judgmental environment for clients to begin reflecting on their experiences. By bringing an authentic and empathic approach to therapy, Peter helps clients explore and access parts of themselves that they may have been closed off to in the past. By exploring past experiences and working creating positive change in the present day, therapy can help increase a client’s ability to navigate relationships, understand their emotions and advocate for themselves. Peter works primarily from psychodynamic and emotion-focused approaches. He believes that relationships form the core of our experiences, and as such, the therapeutic relationship is one of the greatest tools of therapy. Peter strives to bring his authentic self into the therapy space as a way of helping his clients do the same. Peter completed his internship at Fordham University's Counseling & Psychology Services, and has extensive experience working with students and young adults. He completed additional psychodynamic training at the Kull Initiative for Psychotherapy, where he continues to work as a therapist, supervisor, and Associate Clinical Director.

Hello! I'm Kat, and I'm here to be your go-to cheerleader and confidante. Welcome to a space where you can breathe a little easier and find the support you need to navigate the twists and turns of college life. My journey into counseling? I started with a passion for music, earning a double B.A. in Music Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College. Those years taught me so much about creativity and the power of education to inspire and uplift. But my path took a turn when I felt called to explore counseling as a way to help others in a deeper capacity. I pursued an MA in Counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. It's there that I discovered my passion for holistic well-being and specialized in Brainspotting—an incredible modality to bust through performance/creative blocks and tackle the harder stuff like trauma. In our sessions, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where you can truly be yourself. I firmly believe in your ability to overcome challenges and shape the life you desire. Therapy doesn't have to be all serious and introspective. We'll sprinkle in some humor, passion, and empathy along the way. So, if you're ready to level up and tackle whatever life throws your way, I'm here for it. Shoot me a message and let's kickstart this journey together.

Nicholas Glikos Online Therapy
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Queens, NY

Welcome to my practice! My name is Nick and I am a licensed mental health counselor, credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor, and board certified telemental health provider. All services are offered online only. Most of our suffering derives from within. Imagine if you talked to a loved one the way you talk to yourself, or if someone spoke to you the way you speak to yourself. It would be unacceptable and it would not be tolerated. Yet we surrender to these thoughts, repeating the same hurtful, debilitating monologue in the echo chamber of our mind. Herein lies the certainty that derives from being on your own, stuck in a position you never reasoned yourself into in the first place. As you develop an awareness of these thoughts that have so greatly affected your life, you’ll learn how to develop a new, more rational narrative based on the values and beliefs that you yourself will create. As your therapist, my job is to navigate this process as you learn to actively change your thoughts, which change your feelings and impact your actions. I am a firm believer in achieving functionality. We want life to work for us, and not against us. Being a flawed, living, breathing human being, I too struggle with this everyday, and I bring that intense desire to make things work in the therapeutic relationship. We work together to solve the ambivalence. It is understandable that when it comes to our motivation to change, we have our ups & downs. I know what it feels like to be stuck. It’s painful, and when you’re in it, you think it will never end. The good news is that it does, and the process of seeing that end can be so much better having someone that understands you by your side, every step of the way. So are you ready to get started?
