The Journey to Your Internal Compass Starts with One Step. We cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond. It takes courage to seek help for personal struggles. Therapy is like having a compass. The compass provides a sense of safety for travelers as they know they can rely on it to always point them in the right direction. With a compass—any compass—we can always pause for a moment in time and take stock of where we are so that we can continue to grow and change. All of us must change course from time to time because what we are doing isn’t working. If you are struggling with addiction, alcoholism, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or trauma, allow me the honor to walk alongside you as you take the steps to the authentic you and discover your internal compass. I use evidence-based treatments tailored to individual needs to help clients attain and maintain long-term sobriety, improve relationships and well-being. I offer a safe and confidential environment on telehealth software. Healing happens within relationships and it's crucial you find a therapist you connect with. Call or email me today. Let’s walk this journey together.
I aim to guide clients in discovering their patterns and getting off autopilot to begin living a life they choose! I am strongly connected with non-traditional lifestyles and work to cultivate a safe place for all people, most frequently working with clients in queer, non-monogamous, & kink relationships. Most of my clients are wanting to work on issues mostly unrelated to but within the context of these communities and lifestyles, and are tired of having to spend so much time explaining the context to therapists unfamiliar with their world. I also work with folks looking to explore these aspects of themselves for the first time. Growing up, my father's Navy career caused our family to move every 0.5-2.5 years. Since transition was my constant, I developed unique insight into the complex intersection and paradox of excitement, anxiety, fear, resistance, confidence, insecurity, love, and hate that can all be felt simultaneously during times of major change. This is why I love working with college students and helping them to navigate experiences such as: being away from home and re-configuring family relationships; exploring new friendships and romantic relationships; discovering their life path(s); learning a larger variety of ways to cope, communicate, and relate to themselves and the world; and diving more deeply into issues related to identity (e.g. sexuality, gender, higher consciousness, vocation, etc.). I tailor my approach with each of my clients, but primarily utilize mindfulness, experiential activities, and somatic techniques (i.e. deepening the relationship and communication between your mind and body).
Are you seeking more ease in your path through life? Do you crave support from an attuned and skilled therapist who can help you align practically & deeply in the ways you wish? Are you curious to learn from the knowings of your body & emotional landscapes? Do you want increased capacity for joy, quieter inner monologues and reconnection with the rhythms of the natural world? In our time together, you will build resiliency and gain more freedom, while strengthen the inherent clarity that is vital to your well-being. My approach infuses a warm, honest, connected & creative environment and emphasizes your needs in our therapy space. Together, we can address anxiety & depression relief, trauma resolution, relationship support, gender, sexuality, self-esteem, disconnection, chronic stress & fatigue, perfectionism, compulsive behaviors, life transitions, grief & loss. I specialize in working with adults, fellow therapists, LGBTQIA+, young adults, couples, and multi-cultural people.
Are you struggling to engage or enjoy activities you once used to, or to make healthy friendships, connect, stay focused on studies? Perhaps you are noticing that acute or past traumas are getting in the way of feeling safe in your own body and coping is or has become very difficult. I specialize in working with emerging, young adults who battle anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex childhood trauma, addiction, suicidal thoughts and more. Counseling with me will be a warm, authentic and safe experience where together, we can gently process the thoughts, fears and doubts that keep you feeling stuck and perhaps miserable. Therapy may involve processing trauma, helping you develop increased awareness, exploring thought processes, relationships and behavior patterns, as well as learning new skills to manage your symptoms and relationships.
My name is Zach Engler, and I am a licensed professional counselor based right here in Fort Collins, CO. I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, and young adults to middle-aged adults who are: looking for change and personal growth, going through life transitions, struggling with anxiety, depression, excessive worry and fatigue, exploring their sexual identity and/or gender identity, struggling with relationship issues, lost and need help finding themselves. The simple truth of the matter is that you don’t need to have a major mental illness to benefit from counseling. My job as a counselor is to help empower you and to work with you to find a solution to the problems you or your family are facing; whether it be anxiety, depression, or school/job related stressors, or you’re having relationship or family issues, I am here to help. Counseling is personal. It is uplifting. And everyone can benefit from it!
I'm Amanda MacLeod, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant who treats patients with a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, depression, and other mood disorders, with additional clinical interests in treatment-resistant conditions, complex trauma, and behavioral concerns. Guided by a belief in patient and community advocacy, I provide compassionate care while inspiring active change through shared decision-making. I emphasize a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, integrating holistic internal medicine, patient education, medication management, and preventative care to support and sustain overall health and well-being. Specializing in psychopharmacology and psychodynamic therapy, I also have experience with advanced treatment modalities, including pharmacogenetic testing and psychiatric evaluations. Originally from Kansas, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas, I pursued my post-graduate education in Arizona. There, I earned my M.M.Sc. in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University before eventually settling in Denver, Colorado, with my husband and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels – Eevee and Peach. I appreciate being closer to family and exploring the natural beauty of Colorado. In my free time, I enjoy music, concerts, sports, reading, anime/manga, crafting, cozy hobbies, and, of course, binge-watching TV shows/movies.
In the middle of becoming someone new? I work with adolescents and adults navigating identity transitions—career pivots, new parenthood, finishing school, layoffs, or the quieter realization that the life you’ve been building no longer fits. I came to this work through my own transition after a decade in tech startups, so I understand what it’s like to question your path and grow into something not yet fully defined. I’m also a new mom, with firsthand experience of the disorientation and identity shifts that can come with early parenthood—so if you’re in that season, you won’t have to explain it from scratch. I draw from several evidence based approaches; Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). What matters more than the models themselves is how therapy feels: collaborative, structured when helpful, open-ended when needed, and grounded in approaches that are proven to support real change. Therapy works best when it feels like yours—like the conversations you’d want to be having if you had the right person to have them with. My role is to be that person, while also offering tools and frameworks that help you make sense of what’s happening, not just talk about it.

I am a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatric nurse practitioner who treats a wide range of mental health issues. As a deeply empathetic clinician, I am honored to guide you through your mental health journey. My specialties include helping men, women, and teens navigate life changes, negative self-image, and relationships. I embrace a direct and empowering style, as I believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance, which helps me be your biggest supporter. I look forward to being that source of support for you, collaborating and growing in our work together. In our time together, you can expect a warm and safe environment tailored to your unique goals, as I’m passionate about the belief that healing happens when we feel secure enough to understand ourselves with curiosity rather than criticism. That’s why my approach is always warm, empowering, and grounded in the belief that you know yourself best. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) are two treatments we may explore to help you better understand your behaviors and feelings. My own work in therapy showed me firsthand the value in working with an empathetic therapist during times of emotional upheaval, and how empowering it can be to lean more deeply into who we are as individuals. This knowledge strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate care to each of my patients, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to every session thanks, in great part, to the breadth of my life experiences. When I’m not seeing patients, I love being outdoors with my family, learning and exploring new things (including trying new restaurants!), and watching classic movies from the 80s and 90s. I’m also an avid reader, specifically anything Agatha Christie.

Therapy with me is a space to slow down, get to know yourself, and learn tools to feel steady, confident, and aligned in your life. My goal is to provide a space where you can show up fully. Reaching out for psychiatric care can be difficult. You may be concerned about being judged, unsure about medication, or discouraged by previous treatment experiences. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe care should be built on trust, honesty, respect, and collaboration. My role is to listen without judgment, explain your options clearly, and make sure you have a meaningful voice in treatment. I work with people of all backgrounds, including adolescents, adults, veterans, military-connected individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Many patients come to me because they want to better understand what they’re experiencing and find a treatment plan that feels manageable. These struggles may result in feeling constantly on guard, depressed, hopeless, unmotivated, or unable to concentrate – with symptoms that often affect sleep, relationships, school, work, and day-to-day functioning. Other psychiatric conditions include PTSD, mood disorders, and ADHD. No matter what you’re facing, my aim is to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, honesty, respect, and collaboration to better help you improve sleep, focus, emotional stability, relationships, motivation, and overall quality of life. My work as a psychiatric clinician centers on evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, supportive therapy, treatment planning, and patient education, all guided by a collaborative, patient-centered approach built on shared decision-making. Rather than simply prescribing a path forward, I take time to listen and explain treatment options clearly, so you understand the potential benefits and risks of each one before deciding together what makes sense. From there, your treatment plan is built around your specific symptoms, goals, preferences, and past response to care. That same collaborative spirit shapes what it feels like to work with me day to day. My style is calm, conversational, and grounded in a supportive, respectful environment where you're never just receiving instructions. Through medication management, supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, and education, I help you better understand what you're experiencing and take an active role in your own treatment. As your goals and experiences evolve, so does your plan, since care here is never meant to be static. My approach to mental health care has been shaped by 25 years of experience as an Army combat medic, critical care nurse, and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. These roles gave me firsthand insight into trauma, crisis, resilience, and the effects of high-stress environments on individuals and families. I also hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, a Master of Business Administration, and the Healthcare Ethics Consultant-Certified credential. This combination of clinical, leadership, and healthcare ethics training strengthens my commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based treatments that respect each patient's values, autonomy, and individual circumstances. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our four children. Our family is actively involved in Scouting America, which gives us opportunities to serve our community, spend time outdoors, and learn new skills together. I also enjoy fishing, camping, kayaking, gaming, reading, and woodworking.

Looking for a therapist can be overwhelming, but finding the right fit shouldn't feel like a group project you're doing alone. Hi! I'm Cait, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who genuinely enjoys working with college students. I first found myself in the client chair during my undergraduate years, so I understand how vulnerable and sometimes intimidating it can feel to reach out for support. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and down to earth. I strive to create a space where you can show up as you are, talk through what's been weighing on you, and develop tools that help you feel more confident navigating life's challenges. If you'd like to learn more about me and my approach, I invite you to explore my website. I also offer a free 30-minute consultation where you can ask questions, share what you're looking for, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. Therapy is an investment in yourself, and you deserve to find someone who feels right for you.
