I am a solo practitioner working in private practice full time in an effort to alleviate the mental health crisis happening in this country while also providing supervision and management in a full-time mental health position. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults (we call that Transition Aged youth in the biz) with a particular interest and experience with ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, Depression, Bipolar Disorders, Psychosis-symptoms, Trichotillomania, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disorders. Transitioning to adulthood is no joke, so don't feel bad about needing some help sometimes. It's temporary.

People are the center of my practice. While I have a wide range of experience and expertise in various techniques, I always take a person-centered approach to therapy. Every individual is unique, and it is important to treat your symptoms, not simply your diagnosis. Sometimes even the most basic and routine challenges of everyday life can seem complex, unpredictable, or even overwhelming. Whether you are suffering from depression, anxiety, grief, or just going through a difficult transition, my goal is to foster a trusting, safe, and confidential environment for you to heal and grow. My philosophy is grounded in self-compassion and connection – that means helping my clients identify their strengths and learn resilience. Together, we can help you navigate life’s struggles and crises, emerging stronger, healthier, and more confident in yourself and your abilities. As a therapist, it is my responsibility to deliver compassionate, safe, and productive therapy that gives people real tools to create sustainable and lasting change in their lives. I believe that people heal most effectively when they feel empowered to regain control of their lives and confidence in themselves. My goal is to help clients create a sense of self-awareness in order to understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I offer individual therapy on issues including anxiety, depression, identity exploration, self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions. I am also proficient in Spanish. My practice provides a non-judgmental, compassionate environment where you will be not just listened to, but truly heard. I approach therapy through feminist, strength-based, client-centered, and relational frameworks to empower you on your path forward. At its core, this means that nothing happens in a vacuum, our lives are impacted by our history, environments, systems of oppression, relationships, and our own identities. My goal is to create a collaborative space where you can connect more fully with yourself and gain the insight and tools to overcome challenges and live your most authentic, fulfilling life.

Hi. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly 25 years of experience. I specialize in supporting college students during times of change, challenges, losses, or mental health symptoms. I strive to help students better understand and navigate their experiences and make meaningful changes. I support self-compassion, perspective taking, discovery, and skill development. I’m flexible in my approach, and believe in personalizing scientifically proven methods to best fit your needs. I also can help you clarify, or confirm a diagnosis (i.e., label), of your mental health experiences. As an Interpersonal Therapist (IPT), my approach is a great fit for college students, who often face major transitions and challenges during school and emerging adulthood. For some students, we also focus on building healthy daily routines. Life changes can throw off routines, especially things like sleep schedules, which can worsen mental health symptoms. I help students create routines that support their well-being.

I treat each client as a unique individual, ensuring you feel heard and validated as we work to uncover the roots of your challenges. Together, we’ll forge a path toward change and healing. I believe therapy is for everyone and can help you discover the happiness and peace that might be missing from your life. Outside of work, I love to travel, explore new places, and spend as much time outdoors as possible. I enjoy quality time with my family, friends, and my beloved cat and dog. Most of all, I cherish being surrounded by people who make me smile and laugh. My sessions are centered around providing clients with a warm, safe, and comfortable environment where they can confidently express themselves. I support clients who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, and low self-esteem; helping them to build emotional resilience and achieve their goals.

Holiday Blues? Struggles with navigating challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, stress, and self-esteem? I offer a supportive space where you can explore what’s weighing on you and begin to move toward healing and balance. My approach is person-centered and tailored to your needs. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to help. I draw from a range of therapeutic methods including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, strengths-based strategies, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and EMDR. In our first few sessions, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy—your story. I focus on building trust and rapport from the start because I know opening up can feel intimidating. Together, we’ll identify goals and create a treatment plan that feels right for you. Clients often tell me they appreciate the calm, welcoming environment I create. We’ll work at your pace, and you’ll never be pushed to go faster than you’re ready for. I’m passionate about this work because I get to witness real transformation—watching clients grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves is incredibly rewarding.

Hello! I find therapy to be a safe space to explore your life and find empathy for yourself. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community as a member of the community myself. I lead most of my sessions with care and empathy, focusing on empowering you to achieve the goals you create in our work together. I focus on issues such as life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, identity, and sexuality. Whether it's your first or fifth time in therapy, I meet you where you are, listen to what you need, and collaborate with you to discuss what healing can look like for you. At my practice, Elements Counseling and Wellness Spa, we also offer a variety of holistic care options that are often discounted for clients such as massage therapy, cold plunge, saunas, HALO salt cave, yoga classes, reiki, and much more. Becoming a clinical psychologist grew out of my lifelong wish to help people lessen the emotional and psychological pain that any of us can be susceptible to. I provide a place where people can feel listened to and understood. Feeling heard by someone else can often be the first step to better understanding one’s own feelings and others. Once I understand your issues, I utilize psychological treatments that incorporate the latest findings from cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, neuroscience, and modern psychoanalysis. These treatments are now helping more people find effective ways to meet their emotional needs and have fulfilling and enjoyable lives and relationships. If you are interested in learning more about ways that psychological treatment can reduce your emotional distress and help you to have the life you want to live, please do not hesitate to contact me to arrange for an initial consultation.

Do you experience hypervigilance? panic? overwhelm? avoidance? unexplained physical symptoms? Many of my clients didn't realize that their symptoms of anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and relationship struggles stem from trauma. Trauma isn't just something soldiers experience — it encompasses so many different life experiences. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to get at the root of your symptoms, rather than putting a bandaid on them for a temporary fix. I'm trained in EMDR 2.0 and the Four Blinks Flash technique, and I use advanced EMDR software to work effectively with clients online. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for clients ready to go deeper when talk therapy has reached its limits, along with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and ADHD-informed therapy. I've worked extensively with people in the LGBTQ+ community. If you're interested in working together, reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation — we can decide if we're a good fit. You are making an amazing and brave step in your healing journey!
