Hi my name is Cole Scalice, I provide nurturing support for a variety of concerns for young adults and the LGBTQIA+ community. I enjoy working with people on improving personal relationships, navigating difficult transitions, regulating emotions, and trauma work. Do you feel misunderstood, or alone in your healing journey? Choosing therapy is a bold step towards positive change. My goal as a therapist is to support you as you move towards personal and relational healing while providing unconditional positive regard, structure for exploration, and nervous system support for staying present with the difficult emotions and re-grounding afterwards. I believe that you make sense and that you are an expert on your own experience. My practice is person-centered and celebrates queer and trans lives, poly and kink relationships, neurodivergent experience, and health at all sizes. I strive to practice cultural humility about experiences, histories, and cultural oppressions that fall outside my own. I use tools from trauma-informed modalities of IFS, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing. I am open to working with adults, adolescents, and children of families that are willing to commit to family sessions. I enjoy working with people who experience multiple marginalizations and cultural oppressions, artists, writers and activists. Reach out with your questions, current struggles, ideals, and goals to explore if we are the right fit.
We all strive for success in our lives. How we function as parents, professionals, students, or children is shaped by a delicate interaction between factors inside us and outside of us. Our inherited traits, past experiences, and current circumstances all play a role in influencing how we navigate life’s challenges. Yet, it can sometimes be difficult to identify which of these factors are enhancing or hindering our ability to function at our best. The key to greater satisfaction and success lies in being aware of these internal and external factors, understanding how they influence our behavior, and learning how to regulate their impact. As a physician trained in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry, I take a deeply individualized approach to each of my patients. I work with you to promote a healthy, psychoanalytically oriented exploration of yourself, helping you uncover the root causes of any emotional or psychological distress. By understanding these underlying factors, we can work together to create a clear path toward healing and growth In addition to working with individuals, I also collaborate closely with parents to support the emotional and psychological development of their children. Parenting can be incredibly challenging, and it’s important to approach it with insight and support. I work with families to develop highly individualized strategies that promote mental health, emotional resilience, and a more fulfilling life for everyone involved. Whether you are facing longstanding struggles or simply want to explore your thoughts and feelings more deeply, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can enhance your mental health, achieve greater emotional balance, & improve your overall satisfaction with life. I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on your journey.

IOP Sanare Today is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provides group treatment for individuals in crisis or who are struggling with maintaining emotional stability. We offer both mental health and substance use groups. Groups are held 4 days a week to provide more support and direction than traditional outpatient care. IOP groups are provided separately for adolescents and adults. The IOP is an effective step down transition for individuals coming out of a hospital or as a preventive measure to inpatient treatment. Each group session runs for 2 ¼ hours. Family support groups are scheduled weekly or every other week. Sanare Today offers day and evening programs in several different office locations. Life Coaching Sanare Today also offers life coaching. Sanare Today Life Coaching provides guidance for day to day living as well as therapeutic technique implementation. It involves working with adolescents and adults struggling to thrive at their ideal capacity. The core process involves mainly individual, but at times, group sessions. The coaching plan is determined through the collaboration of the client, the coach and the referring provider (if applicable). Each session runs for a total of 60 minutes, unless predetermined otherwise. Sanare Today Life Coaching is designed for individuals who would benefit from more experiential services instead of, or in addition to, traditional mental health or substance use treatment. Life coaching is an effective step down from the intensive outpatient program and an effective addition to individual, one-on-one treatment.

I’ve experienced my own struggles with self-esteem, mental health, & relationship issues. These experiences have shaped me into a therapist who is empathetic, practical, & down-to-earth. I know the path to self-improvement & rebuilding your relationships can be challenging. Let me help you understand yourself and/or your partner more by identifying your "WHY", meaning why you think, behave, and react the way you do based off of attachment, communication styles, past relationships, etc. Don't be afraid to take a chance on you and/or your partner. Let's create those meaningful changes and new memories together.
I myself am a first generation Jewish American woman. I have experienced some discrimination because of my religious-ethnic heritage and have the experience of being "other." This experience has enabled me to connect with people who experience "other-ness." I think most of us humans experience some form of trauma growing up, whether from hurts experienced in the family or in the larger society. Being able to talk about those hurts enables personal integration and healing. That is what my work as a therapist is about. One of the things I am aware of, for students and many others at this time in history, is the feeling of social isolation. I am offering a group for young adults to experience connected-ness. Look at my website for further information. I look forward to hearing from you.
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” -Viktor Frankl Hello! I'm Kaylie (she/they). As a queer clinician, I am dedicated to providing a safe and affirming space for identity exploration, navigating coming out, and validating your queer experiences. Supporting the LGBT+ community is a central motivation for my career as a therapist. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, and I focus on supporting neurodiverse populations, including those with autism and ADHD. My goal is to help clients develop skills to navigate their environments and offer a supportive space to address the challenges they face in a world that may not always accommodate their needs. I believe that the therapeutic alliance is the cornerstone of effective therapy. Building trust and rapport is essential, and I strive to make this process both approachable and relevant to your everyday life. Recognizing that therapy can sometimes feel intimidating, I am committed to creating an environment where you feel comfortable and understood. My approach ensures that our sessions are engaging and that therapeutic concepts are seamlessly integrated into real-world applications. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), focusing on skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Additionally, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), existentialism, and feminist therapy into my practice. My experience spans individual, group, and family settings, and I am trained in trauma-informed care, approaching my work from a person-centered perspective. Whether you're exploring your identity, trying to build a strong sense of self, navigating anxiety and depression, or seeking support regarding neurodiversity, I am here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. Together, we can address life's challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and celebrate your unique journey. Put your mental health first. Many times in the past, I have got so caught up with multiple responsibilities, that I stopped caring well for myself, which hindered my ability to meet my responsibilities. I have found it necessary, at those times, to cut back and turn my attention to self-care. Whatever difficulty you may be facing, academic, relationships, or emotional, I encourage you to get help. The sooner you address it, the easier it is to correct. The treatment approach will depend upon your needs. If you have an addiction, or similar behavioral problem, Motivational Interviewing is the best evidence-based approach. If it is PTSD, EMDR. I am eclectic, using the SAMHSA.gov best practice recommendations for the treatment of trauma, addictions, anxieties, and mood disorders. See my website for more information.

I work best with students who feel a lot—sometimes all at once—and aren’t sure where to put it. You might be dealing with anxiety, identity questions, relationship stress, or the pressure to keep everything together while quietly struggling inside. If you’re queer or exploring your identity, you’ll find a space here where you don’t have to explain or defend who you are. And if you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, collaborative, and open-minded, this might be a good fit. Please reach out!
