Gathered & Wise exists to provide excellent and experienced perinatal and maternal mental health care. We believe that a well-supported mother has a tremendous positive impact on her children and her community. Trauma recovery involves the process of healing both the body and mind from overwhelming experiences by reconnecting with oneself in an integrated way. It includes developing interoception—the ability to sense and interpret internal bodily cues—which helps individuals notice and respond to their emotional and physical states with greater awareness and regulation. Recovery also involves working with both implicit memories (unconscious, body-held responses like tension or startle reflexes) and explicit memories (conscious, narrative recollections of events). Through therapeutic approaches that access these memory systems, individuals begin to make sense of their experiences, reduce reactivity, and create new, safer associations, allowing for a more grounded and empowered sense of self.
I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of challenges that include relationship distress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, financial conflict, and/or coping with the disease of addiction in a significant relationship or family system. We all come from diverse backgrounds and experiences that impact how we see and move through the world. I am interested in understanding the context of your life in our work together. Life offers challenges to all of us. These challenges can be in relationships, life transitions, or in circumstances that feel thrust upon us. I provide empathetic, personalized support to college students who are working to adjust to a college environment, managing new and difficult social situations, or working on themselves and discovering their identity now that they are away from home. My approach tends to be more casual and less clinical. I'm excited to help students explore any new and challenging areas they are facing in college.

I offer telepsychiatric medication management services to adult patients (ages 18 years+) who reside in California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, and Washington state. Specialties include treating members of Sexual and Gender Minorities / 2SLGBTQIA+, emerging/young adult populations, creative professionals, and educators. I bring to clinic an abiding commitment to offering my patients kind, affirming, personalized psychiatric care. I do not prescribe controlled substances. The practice is in-network with select insurance companies in CA, IL, MA, NY, OR, and WA. I also accept self-pay patients from CA, IL, MA, NY, OR, and WA who may be able to collect reimbursement from their insurance companies, if they have out-of-network benefits.
My specialties are self-worth, relationships/attachment and traumas. From our earliest experience, that may not even be remembered, we've learned how to be in relationship. Some things may have been very helpful and other things we learned work against us. Through a lens of relationship much can be understood about ourselves. I offer both weekday and weekend sessions as business hours don't always work. I even offer in-home counseling (additional fees apply) for those who prefer or need me to come to them.
