I provide a supportive space where you will be heard, understood, and validated. Together, we will work through feelings of doubt and anxiety so you can move forward with greater confidence and clarity. In our work together, you’ll begin to discover your unique voice and learn how to use it to advocate for yourself. You’ll also learn that your worth is not defined by other people’s validation—and that making mistakes is a natural and important part of growth. Learning to recognize what isn’t working in your life is the first step toward meaningful change. From there, I will help you focus on your strengths so you can make thoughtful, healthy choices that truly align with who you are and what is best for you.

Hello! I'm a senior clinician (NY, CT and PSYPACT states) who specializes in working with young adults and their parents using evidence-based methods. I use DBT to help people stick to their intentions and goals, rather than feeling controlled by their moods. I draw from DBT and CBT to help patients, parents, and couples improve relationships and face fears. In addition to DBT, I employ specialized CBT treatments like Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP) to target OCD, Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), DBT-PE, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and exposure for phobias. I have special interests in treating sleep and circadian rhythm problems and climate anxiety. Most people benefit from identifying their goals and concrete steps to achieve them. I want to help you picture your life worth living and to systematically work towards feeling content. Please don't hesitate to reach out to see if I'm a good fit for your needs!

Hello! Thank you for your interest in starting therapy. I have a lot of experience supporting college and advanced degree students who are dealing with anxiety, OCD, and stress. I take a CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), goals-focused approach. I am licensed in Massachusetts and New York and I can see students in either state--in fact, I work with a number of students who go to school in MA but live in NY when they are not on campus and vice versa. I'd be happy to set up a time to talk so you can ask any questions that you have to see if it would be a good fit for you.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or frustrated with yourself — especially around focus, follow-through, confidence, or patterns you want to break — you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) providing individual therapy to adults seeking practical, supportive, and insight-oriented care. Therapy with me focuses on helping you better understand your patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and build a more grounded and confident relationship with yourself. I commonly support clients with: -ADHD and executive functioning challenges (organization, time management, follow-through) -Low self-esteem, self-criticism, and confidence at work or in relationships -Anxiety related to performance, decision-making, or life transitions Addiction recovery (alcohol, substances, gambling, sex or compulsive behaviors) -Emotional regulation and impulse control Stress, burnout, and feeling “stuck” My therapeutic style is collaborative, structured, and compassionate. As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), I work with individuals and families navigating life across a variety of backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. I work particularly well with kids and teens (ages 5–17), college students, and adults, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, supporting them through anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the kind of stressful situations that can leave you feeling overwhelmed or unsure of where you belong. My personal experience in therapy has been profoundly transformative, and it’s that firsthand understanding of what genuine, effective care feels like that drives my commitment to providing it. If you're carrying the weight of difficult emotions, searching for your sense of purpose, or trying to build more meaningful relationships and you're not sure where to start, that's okay. We'll figure it out together. I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to be honest, messy, and to move at your own pace, even when that feels like navigating a storm you can't see through. I don't come into sessions with a script; I come with genuine curiosity about you specifically, and a warm but grounded approach built around you, not a formula. Our work together is your umbrella in the storm, the light on the horizon, and, eventually, the clearing. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), adapting to what you need session to session. Together we'll build real insight, practical tools, and ways forward that feel sustainable and true to who you are. Before becoming a therapist, I spent four years working in community and supportive housing, where I served individuals navigating untreated and under-treated mental illness while trying to maintain stable lives. What struck me wasn't just how much they were struggling; it was how many barriers stood between them and the real support they needed. I became a therapist because I believe mental health care isn't a luxury, it's infrastructure. And everyone deserves access to it. Outside of the office, you'll find me on a yoga mat, at a Pilates class, or at a restaurant trying something I've never eaten before. I love spending time with my husband, and when we're not home, there's a good chance we're somewhere on the opposite side of the world. International travel isn't just a hobby for me, it's a reminder that there are as many ways to live a meaningful life as there are people living them, and that perspective finds its way into my work every single day.
You're entering or exiting college, and life feels like a maze; relationships, family, identity, academics, career... it can be a lot. Maybe you find yourself feeling stuck, overthinking everything, or wondering why you feel disconnected in your relationships. You are not alone. I help young adults drop self-limiting beleifs and find a sense of empowerment in their true selves. Whatever you are struggling with, I offer a space to explore unwanted patterns with curiosity (some humor) and no judgment. I believe the client-therapist relationship is the most important component in healing and I strive to be transparent and affirming. Together we can explore how your past is affecting the way you show up in the world now. We will practice tools, strengthen your self-understanding and create trust in your mind and body. As a creative arts therapist of 9 years, I am trained in traditional talk therapy and evidence based art therapy. It is your choice each session to decide which we use to explore your goals. Change can feel scary, and at the same time, often leads to fulfillment. I invite you to reach out so we chat about what you would like to see improve in your life.
Finding support for your mental health is one of the most meaningful steps you can take for yourself. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with six years of experience, my work centers on helping people of all ages navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you're facing low self-worth, struggling to set healthy boundaries, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to find your way through it alone. My goal is to be a steady, empowering partner in your healing process. Together, we'll work toward building clarity, resilience, and the confidence to move forward with purpose. Wherever you are right now, that's exactly where we'll begin. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and structured, with a genuine belief that lasting healing comes from understanding what's at the root of your struggles. Creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe enough to go deeper is something I take seriously in every session. Using trauma-informed care and skills-based Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), we'll work together to process emotional pain, manage distress, and build healthier patterns that support greater stability and overall functioning. My style is warm and empowering, and the way we work will always be tailored to your unique capacity to process, accept, and grow. You can expect care that honors who you are and meets you with both structure and heart. Growing up, watching family members navigate mental health challenges, some diagnosed and others not, planted a seed that has shaped everything about the therapist I've become. Coming from a Caribbean background, I saw firsthand how deeply stigma can prevent people from seeking the help they deserve. That experience became a calling to provide a supportive space for my community so they feel that therapy can be effective and not feeling judged. Providing care that is affirming and culturally informed has been my commitment ever since. Understanding how individual and cultural experiences shape the way people cope with distress is something I bring to every conversation. Outside of sessions, life is full of the things that bring me joy and keep me grounded. Cooking is a creative outlet, binge-watching a great TV series is a favorite way to unwind, and spending time with family is where I feel most at home.
