As a therapist practicing for over 15 years, I thoroughly enjoy working with students as they learn to navigate life. Many times, it can be incredibly challenging to balance school, social relationships, jobs and other responsibilities. My goal as your therapist is to allow you to express your feelings in a non-judgmental and safe space, as well as provide you with skills to improve your overall quality of life. I work with adolescents, adults, as well as couples and families. Additionally, I specialize working with all aspects of eating disorders from anorexia to binge eating. Licensed in Arizona and North Carolina.
At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, we work best with college students who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain—even if everything looks “fine” on the outside. Many of the students we support are balancing classes, work, family expectations, relationships, and the pressure to figure out their future, all at the same time. You may be experiencing constant stress, anxiety that makes it hard to focus, low confidence, or feeling stuck in your own head. Some students come to us feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming. Others are navigating depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available. Our practice is built on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can openly talk about what they’re going through without feeling rushed, labeled, or misunderstood. We focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, counseling is a collaborative process. We believe progress happens best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their growth. Our clinicians work alongside students to build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and strengthen confidence in both academic and personal areas of life. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, we help students identify their values, recognize their strengths, and develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, mood challenges, and relationship concerns. Our goal is not just to help you get through college, but to support you in building skills and self-understanding that will serve you well beyond it.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to get through the day, I want you to know you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I work with people navigating all kinds of life transitions and stressors, and I have a special place in my heart for LGBTQIA+ folks, military families, and college students. Maybe you’re carrying expectations that don’t match who you are, in a shifting relationship, or juggling school, work, and identity exploration all at once. Whether you’re dealing with frequent moves, dorm life, or just the daily task of trying to stay afloat, you deserve support that actually gets it. Whatever brings you here, I’m not interested in “fixing” you, because you’re not broken. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, explore what’s beneath the surface, and find new ways of showing up for yourself and the people you care about. I show up as a real person in the room and I believe healing happens in genuine, respectful connection. My style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and trauma-informed. I use research-backed approaches, but I also trust the power of humor, storytelling, and being witnessed just as you are. I honor the identities, histories, and communities you bring with you, especially if you’ve been told those things are “too much,” “too complicated,” or “too political.” You’re safe to bring all of that here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A), trained at Pittsburg State University (BSW) and The University of Kansas (MSW). That academic foundation matters, but what matters more to me is meeting you with honesty, care, and respect for your lived experience. If this sounds like a space you’d like to explore, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
We specialize in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT). You struggle to connect with your authentic self as you navigate life’s transitions and their impact on your identity and relationships. You notice yourself falling into the same patterns that leave you feeling even more disconnected and overwhelmed. Together, we will explore the stories that shape your inner world. I will support you in letting go of expectations that don't align with your values and building confidence in yourself as the author of your own life. When everything starts to feel like too much, I want you to feel grounded in who you are. My name is Sam, and I believe you deserve to be yourself unapologetically. Finding a balance between honoring your needs, reconciling the past, and fostering relationships is challenging, but you don't have to face it alone. Counseling is a vehicle for promoting holistic health, and you get to decide what wellness looks like for you during our time together. I enjoy using a person-centered therapeutic approach that incorporates theories and interventions from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Ultimately, I will meet you where you are on your journey and provide support tailored to your concerns.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with about a decade of professional counseling experience. My approach is holistic, person-centered, strengths-based, and multicultural, and may combine aspects of the following: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Schema Therapy Attachment-Based Therapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Existential Therapy Gottman Method Mindfulness Therapy Narrative Therapy Play and Filial Therapy Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) I also believe that nature, music, creativity, and humor can play important roles in mental health, and may incorporate these elements into my practice. And, I would love to learn more about your interests and perhaps find ways to bring them into therapy! One of my key strengths as a counselor is my adaptability; I make it a priority to understand your needs and preferences, tailoring my approach accordingly. I always strive to be a warm and approachable counselor who is non-judgmental, respectful, honest, compassionate, and empowering. While I maintain professionalism, I also like to create a relaxed atmosphere during our sessions. (You can expect to see the real me, and I hope to see the real you!) I want therapy to be a positive and rewarding experience for you, and I will do my best to help you feel welcome. During our first sessions, I will likely focus on going over the basic policies and expectations, answering questions, getting to know you better, and learning how I can best support you in this chapter of your life. I'm here to meet you wherever you're at, and I would be honored to accompany you, support you, and empower you on your journey toward holistic wellbeing!

Hi, I'm Dani, and I'm so happy you're here! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, and I am the owner + founder of New Perspectives Mental Health Serices, PLLC. My hope is that if you are reading this, you are ready to take the next step in your mental health journey. Anxiety shows up differently for everyone. Maybe you just started college and feel lost and overwhelmed or have just moved to a new city with no support system in place. You could be trying to decide what career will be the best fit, or maybe you feel confused after realizing that you don't want to continue in the career you chose several years ago. Oftentimes in early adulthood, relationships can also bring anxiety whether they be with friends, family, or romantic partners. Do you want to learn how to be your most authentic self while also managing life's stressors? Then I want to help! Although I specialize in working with clients ages 18-30, everyone is welcome to reach out to connect. Our work will be collaborative. My approach is integrative, but I lean heavily towards cognitive behavioral therapy. This means that we will spend a great deal of our time focusing on how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect. We will also work together to build new coping skills so that you are able to continue the work outside of the therapy "room." I strongly believe that every person's needs are different, and I am prepared to meet you where you are.
