Every person is the expert in their own lives and and experiences and I see my role as supporting people to direct themselves in the path they best see fit. Sometimes things like anxiety, depression, body image issues, and interpersonal conflicts can make it difficult to really stay connected to who you are and achieve what you want to achieve. I work with a lot of college age students, young adults, and adults who are looking to find their way while managing significant stressors. I show up for my clients with curiosity, authenticity, compassion, and humor in order to help them feel empowered to make the shifts in their thinking or behavior that they want. If you want to know more, please schedule an initial consultation with me through my website!

If you are looking to create a life that you are able to enjoy again, let's chat. I foster a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapy space to ensure that my clients are able to share their experiences in confidence. With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, I am committed to supporting my clients as they cope with changes in mood, life transitions, and/or substance use. Hello and welcome! Having worked in academic settings as a teacher and college counselor since 2004, I understand the multiple stressors that can impact students' lives. In my practice, I primarily lead with an interpersonal, relational framework to assist you in establishing a safe and supportive space from which treatment can begin. My co-therapist is my dog, Dahlia, who will serve as a comforting companion in your introspective journey. I also incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems, Animal Assisted Therapy (Canine), Nature Walk Therapy, Psychodynamic, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness models when clinically appropriate. Most of my sessions are done online with the option for in-person Nature Therapy sessions, when requested. The emphasis of our collaboration will be on developing new paradigms for self-compassion, cultivating self-care practices, and expanding your self-awareness. Let me know how I might help.

I help people whose anxiety takes over at the worst possible moments. I know things have been particularly difficult lately. Anxiety can make us feel stuck, but there is hope. My ideal patient is focused upon personal growth and healing. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story.

Welcome! I'm so glad you've found your way here. College can be an exciting time, but it can also come with stress, old wounds that resurface, anxiety, and moments where you’re just not sure who you are or where you’re headed. Therapy can be a space to slow down, breathe, and talk honestly about what’s going on - without judgment. My goal is to create a place where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and safe to figure things out at your own pace. We’ll work together to understand the patterns, thoughts, and emotions that might be keeping you stuck, while also tapping into the strengths you already have (even if you don’t always feel them). I see therapy as more than “fixing problems”—it’s also about reconnecting with yourself, growing in confidence, and building a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you want to be. I use an individualized, integrative approach—drawing from psychodynamic therapy, relational work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—because there’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing. This means we’ll explore your past and present experiences, uncover what’s behind certain reactions or habits, and bring compassion to every part of you. I’d be honored to walk with you as you learn to trust yourself, practice self-kindness, and reclaim your voice. Together, we can explore what matters most to you and help you move toward a life with more clarity, confidence, and connection.

Central to the therapy process is connecting with someone with whom you can openly explore your past and present; thoughts, feelings, and wishes. As a therapist I am committed to helping you understand the important experiences and patterns that have influenced your life and begin to find openings for new insights and greater meaning. This can allow for personal growth, more fulfilling relationships, and improved coping with difficulties. My style is collaborative, supportive and interactive. My approach involves both facilitating personal exploration and helping you find new strategies for managing difficulty. People who come to see me are often struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, eating/body image concerns, or struggling with transitions in young adulthood

Life as a young person can be a complex journey, often filled with challenges that leave folks feeling adrift and overwhelmed. If you are someone who is struggling to navigate the intricate web of school/work, family, and relationships, I am here to help. Many college students find themselves feeling stuck, dwelling on the past, or consumed by worries about the future, making it difficult to remain present and truly engage with and take control of their lives and their futures. I meet clients exactly where they are at, offering empathy and understanding, and working collaboratively to promote integration, well-being, and positive change. My approach starts with building a strong relationship, and I draw from a diverse toolkit, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy, tailoring our sessions to the client's specific needs. Moreover, I have extensive experience working with adolescents and college students.

I am a strengths-based therapist with an active, collaborative style, and a solution focus. I worked in college mental health centers for years before opening a private practice, and I enjoy working with adolescents, emerging adults, and young adults on the wide variety of issues that they present with. I am also a certified addictions counselor (CADC-II) and I often work with young people who are either questioning their alcohol and drug use, or who are trying to abstain from substances or other addictive behaviors. All narratives are unique and it is an honor to have your stories shared with me. I value humor and patience and work to create a safe and open environment with my clients. Suffering is embedded and essential to the human spirit--it allows us to gain perspective, wisdom, and insight. I like to find the light in dark times and help cultivate and grow that light for when we face our next challenges. I will let you know why I am asking about certain areas of your life and will fully and transparently narrate my process so that we can work collaboratively and openly.
