Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Lincoln, MA

Welcome! I am a dual Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (psychiatry mental health and Family medicine) I began my career as a Cardiac Intensive Care nurse at a major teaching hospital in New York City. I have 35+ years of experience in nursing and a wealth of experience in almost all areas of mental health. I manage and treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bipolar illness. Whether you are interested in finding a medication prescriber who can continue a treatment regimen that is already working well or seeking psychiatric services for the first time, I am excited to work with you to achieve your goals. Many people struggle alone for months or years with symptoms of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, or other mental health problems. Reaching out for help is a crucial, courageous first step to improving mental wellness. In my practice, I prescribe medications to treat your symptoms when appropriate and safe. Although, I never solely rely on psychiatric medications as a complete fix. I utilize other treatment modalities as well (nutrition modification, sleep hygiene, and physical fitness). The Mind-Body connection is at the core of my treatment plan. I draw from my extensive background in internal medicine and years of psychiatric experience to inform my treatment decisions. We can work together to improve your quality of life. Please email me if you are interested in scheduling an intake appointment.

Margot brings a warm and interactive style to her psychotherapeutic practice, which can best be described as “eclectic,” as she believes that not one type of therapy is right for everyone. Pulling from psychodynamic (insight-oriented) psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness/meditation, and somatics (the integration of body/mind/spirit), Margot will tailor her practice to people’s individual needs depending on the particular issues they would like to address in therapy. Margot is committed to serving traditionally marginalized communities including people of color, queer and transgender/gender non-conforming people, poly and kink identified people, and people with disabilities. Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a Boston-based Registered Dietitian passionate about helping you prioritize your relationship with food. I take an evidenced-based, HAES-informed, non-diet approach to help you cultivate a nourishing and normalized eating pattern that suits your individual needs. Striving to balance the demands of modern life is an on-going process. We are ever evolving, discovering new parts of ourselves, facing challenges, confronting health issues, encountering loss, or adjusting to new situations--- it is part of the human condition. At times these demands are too much or too complicated to manage alone. Psychotherapy is both a relationship and a service. Finding a safe, supportive, and comfortable place are just some aspects of the therapist search. I welcome clients to meet with me to decide if my services fit their particular areas of concern. I try to provide a warm, safe and open environment with my clients and believe in a collaborative approach to help find resolution and a better understanding of yourself.

I believe the role of a therapist is to be more than a reflective and empathetic companion in the client’s journey and must also incorporate directive approaches in order to alternate between being a companion and being a leader on that journey. Inherent in this belief is that clients are coming to therapy because they want something different than what they currently have. This can be as simple as a new perspective on a past or current struggle or as complex as a new skill set for managing and overcoming emotional, behavioral, cognitive, relational, or somatic patterns that have arisen in response to emotional distress. My theoretical orientation is rooted in Systems Theory and I utilize interventions from Family Systems Therapy, Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, ARC, as well as Somatic and Mindfulness based psychotherapies. I have over 15 years of clinical experience working with adolescents, college students, adults, couples, and families. My experience has shown that change is typically hard work and often requires compassionate and collaborative support in order to build new skills. I see clients in both Oregon and Massachusetts and I offer a 30 minute free video or phone consultation to see if I am the right fit for you.

Hello! My background is working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in depression, self-esteem, anxiety, as well as mood and personality disorders like bipolar and borderline personality disorders. Sessions lead with a person-centered approach and evidence-based practices. My style is warm and fun, partly so you can feel like you took a breath of fresh air, at the same time as reaching your goals. I value the importance of trust when working with my clients. Together, we will create an individualized plan where you approve each decision. The purpose would be to have clear goals, monitor progress, and efficiency. I recently started my own practice, after being an associate therapist for a group for 3+ years. My experience also includes working for Youth and Family Services, child protection, a homeless shelter, and inpatient care. Environments that emphasized the importance of providing compassionate and quality care, with confidence to handle any complex situation. Anyone who tries to make the commitment to start therapy deserves a lot of credit! In my experience, what sets apart a good from a great therapist is having an innate ability to empathize and listen. I make this standard. There is a special purpose in feeling seen. For more info schedule a free consult! I look forward to meeting!
