She received a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Human Development and Family Studies, and a master's degree from the University of Colorado-Denver in General Clinical Mental Health. Kayla believes in a non-judgmental, comfortable environment and a safe therapeutic relationship where you can address your concerns. She offers understanding and empathy, as well as some humor and metaphors- believing both have their place in session as they can promote an open, genuine connection.
In her spare time, Kayla enjoys spending time with family (humans and animals alike), traveling, and helping her plants grow and thrive.
